Those minutes present the first actions to put in place, the first deliverables and milestones to prepare and organise the project with the future different meetings. This document summarizes the minutes of discussions from the kick-off meeting. It includes a copy of the hand-outs, and is signed by a representative of each partner.

The project is kicked-off (official start date is December 1st).

First task will be dedicated to specification of both the flight system and the demonstrator and will be done by TASF.

The “Specification of the overall performance for the instrument and the associated demonstrator” is the output of Task 2.1 of WP2 “Architecture, specification and development plan for the VIDEO instrument and demonstrator”. It provides the technical requirements applicable to the Flight instrument and to the Demonstrator, taking into account a trade-off between market expectations and technical feasibility, down to the individual requirements for the Sub-assemblies (mirrors, structure, detectors, video channel).

It is an input to the preliminary design of the instrument and to the individual technologies development plan definition.

The Data Management Plan describes the list of data, documents and information that has to be exchanged between partners and identifies which information shall be publicly released, at what time, and by what means. The document will be updated at the middle point of the project and at the end, reporting how the implementation of the plan has been done.

The Risk Register builds up on the preliminary list of the proposal, describing the type of risk, and the severity level, as per ECSS standard. Above a given severity level, risk mitigation actions are be described and implemented.
The current version of the Risk Register is in the Risks Identification phase.

The first version of this document describes how public information will be managed, which targets will be chosen, which level of information will be disseminated.
The final version will describe the status of dissemination and how the dissemination activities have complied to the expectations. Realized and expected impact will be assessed.

This document constitutes a set of tools to be used to efficiently share information within the consortium and disseminate the outcomes of the project. It comprises:
– A website that will provide open access to general information about the project, such as project description, consortium presentation, progress status, publications.
– An internal collaborative platform to ensure efficient and secure data and documentation management for the project. This platform is limited to the members of the Consortium.
– Internal communication tools: a set of rules allowing efficient and secure communication and transfer of data between Partners.

This document contains details on potential dual-use implications in the project and associated risk-mitigation strategies.

The EB minutes will present the work that has been performed during the last 6 months, and will prepare the future actions of the next 6 months.

This document gathers all preliminary technical justifications of the performance that the VIDEO instrument will fulfil, in comparison with the specification D2.1:
